How Photographing a Reunion Works
Reunion photography works best when the group photo is taken just before dinner. This works because in most cases everybody has arrived and the party has begun.
For example: If dinner is served at 7 p.m.., I arrive at 6:15 to set up an area in which to take the photograph. The picture is taken about 6:45.
For pictures mailed to the purchaser: While people are eating or sitting around at their table, envelopes are passed out. If the reunion member wishes to order a photo they simply self address the envelope. The photo fee is collected at the same time and we leave. It's that simple because we want to take up as little of your time as possible.
-The photographer helps organize the group picture with the assistance of a member of the reunion committee.
-The photographer explains the ordering procedures and prices to the people just before the photo is taken.
For pictures returned the same night:
-It takes about 2 to 3 hours to return with pictures if the reunion has chosen to receive pictures the same night. (There are minimum quantity and location restrictions which apply to photos returned the same night, please inquire.) Money is collected when the pictures are delivered.
-Pictures not delivered the same night are mailed to the purchaser the next day
Reunion Photography is Fun and is not intended to be a hassle. We have worked hard to make it that way and we would enjoy photographing your reunion!
